Therapies are not compulsory and are not included in the school fees. All our therapists are registered with the council and their fees can be claimed back through your medical aid.

Nursery school & foundation phase school for kids with autism, pervasive development disorders, ADD/ADHD & Aspergers
Amazing K has a wide variety of interventions, schooling, training and therapy options available for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD/ADD), Speech delays or Communication challenges.
Our group sessions work on a 3:1, 4:1 OR 6:1 teacher/therapist to child ratio depending on the development age and support level need of the child.
Students are admitted into our full-time program from age 24 months (2 years).
All outpatient therapies are done in the afternoon so as not to disrupt the in-class learning time. For children receiving therapy as part of their full-time admission therapies happen during school hours.
1:1 therapies are billed for over-and-above but are not compulsory. Traditional therapies such as Speech Therapy and Occupation Therapy can be claimed from your medical aid. Other therapies such as behaviour therapy is a cash-based therapy.
In addition to Amazing K being a registered ECD & Partial Care Centre for learners with special educational and/or remedial learning needs - we also offer Behaviour Therapy and Alternative Communication Therapy to school-age children, pre-school children and toddlers in the afternoons. These therapies are available to all our students as well as on an outpatient basis.
You can now also have quality lessons and curriculum support at your fingertips! Amazing k has just made it easier to get a tutor (online or face-to-face) for children with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, speech apraxia/dyspraxia or any other developmental delay.
Every morning we sanitise hands, feet and bags of all staff and learners
Temperatures are checked and our forms completed before starting our day
Each child receives individual teaching boxes, stationary and playdough - that are easy to clean and sanitize after use daily
Individual workstations with non-shared stationary and childrens names clearly marked. We chose blackboards for visual learning purposes
Regular temperature screening on arrival and departure but also during the course of the day
Sanitising stations dotted around the school with a variety of hand sanitizers, gels, surface sanitizers and sprays to keep all toys, equipment and hands clean and germ free
