Crossroads School aims to remediate children who experience learning difficulties. Our school motto "Let None Be Left Behind" epitomises the way we teach and encapsulates our all-encompassing approach to remedial education where we create a Plan for Every Child.

Founded in 1966, Crossroads School has established its roots with an in-depth understanding of children faced with learning challenges. Our environment is best suited to children who have the potential to learn but who display current barriers in achieving this ultimate outcome.

Our Curriculum

We use Individual Education Plans (IEP’s) to ensure that teaching is customised to meet each individual child’s cognitive profile and learning ability whilst following the CAPS Curriculum. Many of our learners have experienced a vulnerability in learning and additional support is provided through a trans-disciplined approach.

This consists of:
- Classroom Educators (remedial trained)
- Speech-Language Therapists
- Occupational Therapists
- Educational Psychologists
- Learning Support Therapists
- Specialist Educators: Art, Computers & Robotics and Physical Education
- Parents

We offer a range of activities that children can attend after the academic day and we encourage them to be responsible in all they commit to.
