The Cirk is an entertainment and performance company dedicated to sharing the love of cirque arts. Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, our skilled artists have enchanted audiences across the continent with thrilling performances. Fun Circus Fitness Classes for Kids & Adults
Looking for a fun and exciting way to get fit, strong, and flexible? The Cirk, in collaboration with Jozi Circus School, is proud to offer a variety of circus fitness classes for children and adults alike. Regardless of fitness level or previous experience, our classes provide enjoyable and stimulating workouts, helping you achieve your fitness goals while building confidence and coordination. Students of all levels are welcome from the age of 6+.
Classes cover the following areas:
- Floor work (tumbling, acrobatics, stretching)
- Contact work (handstands, group work)
- Aerial (silk, lira, trapeze, rope, straps)
Apart from physical strength, children will also be building spatial awareness, discipline, concentration and respect through fun exercises.

Annual kids' showcase
All students will be encouraged to develop their own routines, incorporating the skills they have learned throughout the year. They will perform their routines in the kids' showcase for family and friends.
Circus birthday parties!
We offer a 2 hour workshop for birthday parties. The first hour, the kids will be taught by the facilitators and the last hour is free for them to play, with the supervision of the facilitators. As an added extra, a small performance of 2-3 acts by our professional team can be included in the party.
Venue Hire
Our state-of-the-art venue in Cresta Shopping Centre is available for hire and comes fully equipped with everything you need to host an event of any kind. From corporate events and year-end functions, to birthday parties and dance competitions, our venue provides everything you need for a unique, memorable and professional event.
The Cirk's Malo
“Malo” is a heartwarming cirque-theatre tale of Malo the Clown and his eternal love for the celestial Melodia Luna.
Set in a once-glorious circus now faded by time, this magical production blends aerial artistry, puppetry, slapstick, and heartfelt storytelling. With a colourful Parade of Clowns, enchanting puppet animals, and breathtaking aerial scenes, audiences of all ages will be transported into a dreamlike world where love defies gravity and stars still shine bright. Join Malo, his loyal donkey Dumpledore, and the whole circus cast on a poetic journey of joy, longing, and hope.

2. The winner will be selected on 4 Jun 2025
Winners are chosen by a random selection process from all the correct entries and will be contacted by telephone call the day after the competition closes. Should the selected entrant not be available immediately via phone call a new winner will be chosen until an entrant can be reached.
3. The winner will be confirmed via email.
4. Only residents living within the borders of South Africa can qualify for a prize.
5. Only one entry per person.
6. If prizes are unclaimed within 10 working days a new winner will be selected.
7. The prizes are valid for June 2025 only
