Brainline accredited Homeschool Centre (grade 8-12)
The homeschooling syllabus we facilitate is provided by Brainline Learning World (Pty) Ltd which is registered with the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) as well as Impaq (SACAI) enabling our students to rest assured of quality assessment in accordance with policy.
Students who successfully complete their Grade 12 will be awarded the National Senior Certificate issued by Umalusi. Students can now be quite certain that their hard work throughout the year will count towards their final results.
CambriLearn is a Cambridge curriculum provider providing their clients with the opportunity to gain internationally recognised IGCSE, AS and A levels.
Small Classes (One grade per class) allows individual attention which many students need. The syllabus is designed where each area of study has an activity to engage the learner in the material and allow the learner to assess the understanding of that particular area.
Progress is sent to the parents via email to allow for the parent to become actively involved in their child's education.
Tutors for grades 4-12 (IEB< GED and GDE) in all subjects
Our facility hosts extra lessons for IEB, GED, and GDE clients from all schools in the area. Our Tutors ensure individual attention is paid to all problem areas using the syllabus provided by the student. Book an hour a week and choose to do any subject in that session. All subjects are offered at the centre for Gr 4-12.
- Private lessons: A private class in held on the premises whereby the student will receive one on one tuition.
- Group lessons: The student will be placed in a group(Max 4 students at one time) whereby they will be guided through their problem area one child at a time.
Exam Boosters held every term for all subjects.
Starr Student Tutor Centre CC follows the government terms thus 4 terms per academic year. Syllabus is covered in Term 1-3 and revision is done in the 4th term prior to the end-year examinations. This may vary depending on the curriculum provider selected.
