Participating in drama, music and dance workshops gives children more co-operational skills, discipline, and improved self-confidence, capable with public speaking.
Theatre encourages children to learn from seeing life on stage, teaches them to imagine the unimaginable and cultivates curiosity, but also boost their self-esteem and confidence.
National Children’s Theatre has brought joy, laughter and memorable moments to thousands of families and children over the last 30 years and especially during COVID these last two years, providing a safe space, an educational and artistic outlet.
At NCT, children work to strengthen their artistic voices and explore how theatre arts classes are relevant and supportive of their daily lives. Our workshop programs promote experiential, and interdisciplinary approaches to learning that center social-emotional development, collaboration, and self-expressionâ€"and our professional educators strive to incorporate the arts into literacy and learning.
