Dodgeball parties for kids from 7 years upwards

Dodgeball South Africa was established in 2015 and pride themselves on delivering balltastic dodgeball birthday parties to energetic kids from as young as 7yrs +. Dodgeball is new, exciting, safe and will be the most talked about birthday party in town. Our dodgeball birthday parties have been designed for maximum engagement, fun and interaction all in a safe environment.

Dodgeball South Africa are the professionals within the industry and our experienced and trained dodgeball hosts are young, energetic and can handle up to 40+ kids.

When booking a dodgeball birthday party with us you can choose either to have the party at one of our partners venues such as an Action Sports Arena or we can come to you and setup in your garden or communal area. If we setup at yours you can choose to book either our INFLATABLE DODGEBALL ARENA or our PORTABLE NETS. Each has its own cost and space requirements. Minimum space required for portable nets: 15m x 7m , Minimum space required for the Inflatable Dodgeball Arena: 20m x 10m . Should you not have adequate space or location for us to setup, no stress, you can come to one of our partners venues.

What can I expect from a dodgeball birthday party?

• All equipment is provided by Dodgeball SA - balls, whistle, stop watch, cones, co-ordinator, party structure, nets or inflatable arena
• Welcome, fun warm up and stretch
• Variation Game to get the blood pumping - Last man Standing, King of the Court, Medic or Shark Tank
• Dodgeball Tournament - here we break the kids up into teams and do an exhilarating tournament - Round Robin or Knock-outs followed by a finals match
• More variation Games - another round of games
• We will end the session with open court matches or variation games- time permitting
• Usual dodgeball birthday parties are approximately 2 hours when using the nets and 3 - 4 hrs with the inflatable arena however, the times can be adjusted if necessary on prior request.

Dodgeball Team Building Events For Companies/Corporates

The thought of workmates throwing balls at each other is guaranteed to capture their imagination and get the banter flowing, not to mention the bonding that will ensue through their efforts at trying to think of a silly team name, an even sillier costume as well working as a team to eliminate the other teams.

Dodgeball is perfect for company parties or team building days, as nobody is excluded and everyone is in the same boat! The balls are official Dodgeball SA balls and don’t hurt, so don’t worry about that either.

We cater for a minimum of 10 players right up to 250, depending on the venue, and we tailor your event to your specific needs. For smaller groups (20 or less) we recommend splitting you into teams and having a few games. For bigger groups we suggest a fun tournament. Below are our two main schedules, but you can mix and match if you would like to.

If you need catering and drinks we can organise that for you too, just let us know your requirements.

Smaller Groups

• Run through the rules
• Split into teams and have a few games
• Drinks break
• Variation games (inc. Wrong-Arm Dodgeball, British Bulldodge, Chain Gang)
• Couple more normal games
• Last Man Standing!

Larger Groups

• We recommend a fun tournament
• You tell us the team names in advance of the day itself and we will organise the schedule, with printouts on the day of the event
• Group stages or round robin so every team gets to play plenty of dodgeball
• Knockout stage, where each match could be your last!
• Grand Final!
• Prizes can include medals, pitchers of beer, bubbly and novelty awards. These are awarded to a selection of: winners, best team kit, best team name, worst team, best female player etc. You can decide how many and which prizes you want.

When booking your team building event you can choose to either come to one of our partners venues or we can bring the dodgeball to you with our mobile inflatable dodgeball arena or use of our portable nets.
