Grade 4 – 12 Math & Science tutoring

Mathematics and Science can be the most rewarding and important subjects to take, especially for tertiary education admission.

Unfortunately, both subjects have a bad reputation as being hard.

At our centre we believe that ANY child can excel at Math and Science, it is simply a matter of the right guidance, keeping up to date and putting in a little effort.

We follow a practical approach:
1. Teaching / explaining a concept
2. Reinforcement exercises in class – until a sufficient level of competency is reached.
3. Prepping for tests and exams.
4. We help learners to be confident in their own abilities.

No two learners are the same, therefore we do not present standardized classes – we focus on the challenges each learner faces and provide academic and emotional support.

Study Methods Short Course (4hrs)

During this “short and sweet” course we only focus on the essential skills needed for effective and time effective studying.

What makes this course unique is that it is tailored to suit each learners’ individual needs.
So tailored, in fact, that each learner who attends the course brings his/her own textbook and walks away with summaries that can be used for tests and exams.
What do we teach?

Time Management, Prioritising, Study Timetables

- The reading techniques needed for effective studying.
- Finding keywords / concepts.
- Various summarisation techniques
- Differentiation between high frequency and low frequency study techniques.
- Memorisation.
- Exam technique.
