Cognitive testing

Better Brain. Better Life. Better Future.ô
BrainAbility is a group of cognitive testing and training centers that offers unique, internationally research based programs which dramatically enhance cognitive ability - those underlying skills we rely on every day to learn, read, remember, concentrate, think on our feet, follow instructions, etc.

Our unique power comes from precise cognitive skills testing, and our individualized, one-on-one cognitive skills (brain skills) training offered in-centre and online.

From 6-year old students to senior adults, our customized cognitive brain training can benefit anyone who wants to train and strengthen the underlying foundational skills the brain uses to think, read, learn, remember, and pay attention.

Cognitive training is not tutoring. Our programs donít re-teach academic information. Instead, they change how the brain grasps and uses information.

Our one-on-one cognitive development programs are helping individuals across South Africa remember better, focus more and think faster.

Whether you're an average, already high-performing or struggling child or adult - with a faster, smarter brain, life (and learning) is so much better!

Who can benefit from our programs?

Our clients include:
  • struggling students of all ages
  • high-performing and gifted students wanting to further enhance learning ability
  • children and adults diagnosed with ADHD
  • children and adults diagnosed with a learning disability
  • children and adults struggling with memory, attention or reading problems
  • career adults, from junior to senior executive level, wanting to get ahead
  • high school and university level students looking for an edge

  • All it takes, is 3 easy steps:

    Step 1
At BrainAbility, we develop a personalized cognitive training plan for every client. This allows us to match each client with the right program, and then tailor that program to their individual needs.

This process starts with a Cognitive Assessment, followed by a one-on-one conversation (feedback consultation) about your assessment results and brain training goals.

The assessment is done online from the convenience of your home or office. The assessment is used in more than 46 countries around the world and available in 23 international languages, including English and Afrikaans.

The assessment scientifically measures the performance of seven key cognitive skills and pinpoints which cognitive skills may need to be targeted and strengthened to experience real change.

    Step 2
The assessment fee includes a detailed feedback consultation to provide you with your assessment results and options.

Based on your assessment results and your individual goals, we can recommend a cognitive training program and develop an individualized development plan for you or your child.

    Step 3
Decide if we're a good fit for you.

When you sign up for one of our cognitive development programs, we partner you with a dedicated Cognitive Trainer who guides you through intense but fun brain building exercises. The 1-on-1 training is done in-centre or remotely via Zoom/Teams from the comfort of your home or office. Available nationwide.
