Art classes for kids

Our lessons are anchored in developing good technical artistic basics while remaining explorative and playful. We follow a specific, yet adaptable theme-based structure designed to explore and build on a wide range of art-making practices.

Art lessons in various mediums

We focus on painting, drawing and multimedia projects with the aim of developing the following skills:
- Fine-motor
- Language and social (following of instruction)
- Decision-making
- Critical thinking
- Risk-taking
- Innovativeness

Costs

R220/Lesson
1,5 hours x 4/5 in a month
***Bring an apron or old T-shirt.
All basic materials provided.
(FREE Trial Lesson: Only charged if you choose to continue our classes)

Payment: Invoices issued on the 25th of each month in advance for the month ahead. Payment must be received in full before classes begin.

Note: Our Calendar continues all year round. Some students want more art in the holidays and some less. If you are going on Holiday, please let us know before making payment and we will remove these lessons from the invoice.

I often hear adults say to me, “I’m not very creative” and I find it surprising because creativity is not something you either have or don’t. It is a natural part of life to be creative, it is an advantageous way of solving life problems. Children are bursting with unfiltered creative energy, all they need is a focused outlet to teach them how use this energy successfully. This is what our classes aim to do.
