Baseball for children
Baseball for kids in Alexandra is about playing to learn and learning to play. Alexandra Baseball Association coachies baseball to kids during the week. On Saturdays we play matches all over Gauteng. ABA teams have just been accepted in the Gauteng Summer Baseball League.
ABA also promotes social responsibility in our community by:
* doing voluntary work at the old age home in Lombardy,
* teaching the players Ubuntu (Humanity),
* helping the kids with their school work.
The kids only pay R50 per month for purchasing and maintaining equipment.
