Youth Nations Camps for Ages 10-21
In 2002 we worked with orphaned children from the SOS village in Pietermaritzburg and we realised then the positive impact we can have in equipping young people with life skills to become independent individuals who contribute positively to society.
YNLM aims to develop the youth to become dynamic leaders and global thinkers. Our sole objective is to equip young people with the necessary tools needed to discover and achieve their full potential.
Our programs are presented in an alternative & uplifting environment that promotes acceptance, accountability and understanding of oneself. Furthermore, we create a pleasant and safe environment which enables the youth to have the opportunity to grow.
Different Age Groups
Youth Nations provides tailored programming for different age groups, ensuring that activities, lessons, and personal development are age-appropriate and impactful:
– 10-12 years: Fun, foundational activities focused on teamwork, self-awareness, and early leadership skills.
– 13-15 years: More challenging programs that develop problem-solving, collaboration, and emotional intelligence.
– 16-18 years: Leadership training, career guidance, and community-building activities that prepare teens for the next stage of life.
– 19-23 years: Advanced leadership, entrepreneurship workshops, and personal growth programs to help participants transition into adulthood.
Safe and Secure Facilities
All Youth Nations camps are conducted in accredited facilities located in the Free State, Limpopo, and KwaZulu-Natal. These sites are chosen for their adherence to the highest safety protocols, and access to the campgrounds is by appointment only.
3 Camps a Year
April/May: Hiking Trip – A journey into the outdoors to develop resilience, teamwork, and environmental awareness.
June/July: Veld School – Survival skills training, problem-solving activities, and environmental education.
December: Summer Camp – Our flagship event! Campers engage in leadership development, creative workshops, and team-building exercises.
