The Wooden Spoon Kids Cooking Club - Online
Do you want your child to become more confident and independent in the kitchen?
The Wooden Spoon Kids Cooking Club teaches children and teens how to cook real meals from scratch while learning essential life skills.
Each class focuses on practical cooking skills such as:
• chopping and knife skills
• measuring and following recipes
• kitchen hygiene and safety
• flavour balance and food knowledge
Teaching Essential Life Skills
Founder Ankie Niesing, a former Home Economics teacher, combines education with fun so that students not only cook delicious food but also understand the science and skills behind cooking.
By the end of the program, students feel confident preparing meals for themselves and their families.
We offer live weekly online classes, and if you miss a lesson you can catch up anytime in our online hub, which includes a growing library of recipes, videos, and resources to help your child become more independent in the kitchen.
