Welcome to Small World School, a place where your child is truly Seen and Heard. Established in 2009, we are proud to be the very first Reggio-inspired nursery school in South Africa, offering a warm, nurturing, and innovative environment that embraces the unique potential of each child.

Small World School serves as a Lab School for the world-renowned Reggio Approach, making it a hub of educational innovation and creativity. We integrate a 21st-century curriculum aligned with the CAPS requirements and are fully registered with the Department of Education. Our experienced and passionate teachers-collectively bringing over 100 years of teaching expertise-ensure that each child receives the individual attention and guidance they deserve.

What We Offer:

- Daily ART & STEM Lessons:Children engage in creative and exploratory learning in our purpose-built Ateliers (laboratories), where they can experiment, express themselves, and develop problem-solving skills.
- Fresh, Home-Cooked Vegetarian Meals: Our full-time chef prepares nutritious vegetarian meals daily, fostering healthy eating habits and ensuring your child is well-nourished and ready to learn.
- Weekly Forest School Sessions: Our preschoolers enjoy weekly outdoor learning experiences through our Forest School program, where they connect with nature, develop resilience, and explore their environment in a meaningful way.

Additional Programs:
- Aftercare: Available to support working families on Tues-Thurs afternoons until 3pm
- Holiday Club: A fun and engaging program for children during school breaks.

We hold a Tea and Tour event on one Monday every term at 2:00 PM, offering you a chance to explore our beautiful facilities, meet our team, and learn more about what makes Small World a special place for young learners. Spaces are limited, so be sure to book in advance.
