Supportive Mainstream Education for Grades R-12
The School of Transformation, established in 2005, provides Umalusi-accredited, supportive mainstream education for Grades R-12. Alongside the CAPS curriculum, each learner benefits from an Individualised Education Plan (IEP), where classes are split to address specific reading or numeracy challenges. We offer a wide range of accommodations, including readers and scribes, ensuring that every learner's unique needs are met.
Skills-Based Programs Integrated
We integrate robotics for Grades R-6 and music therapy for our foundation phase. From Grades 7-12, learners study Computer Applications Technology (C.A.T.). We also provide bridging classes for those needing extra support and a skills-based program up to NQF Level 2, including hospitality and computer skills.
On-Site Therapists
Our on-site team includes a counselor, occupational therapist, and speech therapist. With seven buses covering most areas in Ekurhuleni, we ensure convenient transport. With nearly two decades of experience, The School of Transformation combines expertise, innovation, and care to help every learner succeed.
Students with Learning Barriers
School of Transformation caters to students with various barriers to learning, including:
- ADHD
- Asperger Syndrome
- Dyslexia
- Reintegration into mainstream environments after alternative schooling, such as homeschooling
- High-functioning Autism
- Anxiety
- Emotional difficulties (supported through our mentoring program and counseling)
Our small class sizes enable us to address each student’s individual needs effectively.
