Omatas (O-ma-tis) is an Intervention School for Struggling Learners

A warm, community-driven remedial school focused on changing the lives of children and families.

We consider the well-being of the whole child, helping you to improve their nutrition, sleep and movement as we work towards sustainable development that can last a lifetime.

We offer:

- Small multi-age/grade classes that focus on where each child is rather than whole class learning.
- Montessori style teaching approach as this empowers teachers to operate one-on-one with every child and utilise concrete learning materials to close academic gaps.
- Consulting OT, speech therapists, & educational psychologist
- We work with children who have high anxiety, ADHD, high functioning Autism, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, generalised learning delays and scattered scores.
- Our focus is on bridging academic gaps, developing learning and thinking skills, building social skills and emotional development
