HospiceWits provides care and support to the communities within the Johannesburg Metropolitan District, primarily Johannesburg and Soweto.

Palliative care is the holistic care of someone diagnosed with a life threatening illness. It includes pain management and symptom control, psychological, emotional and spiritual counselling and is offered to any and all whether or not they are able to pay. Our support extends to the family of patients. Our values of dignity, integrity and respect inform everything we do and we strive to provide palliative care that is world class…..We are compassionate, sympathetic and supportive - we care.

- Corporate Fundraising: We rely heavily on generous contributions from our dedicated donors to allow HospiceWits to maintain and expand its vital services to the terminally ill despite worldwide financial pressures.

HospiceWits Mandela Day Donations Drive

HopsiceWits is a registered NPO which operates 4 charity shops across Johannesburg. The money we raise goes to support our specialist palliative and end-of-life care for local patients without financial means.

We rely on donations of goods to our charity shops to help us fund patients in need. Without enough funding, HospiceWits struggles to meet the ever growing demand for our services.
