Online tuition services for IEB, DBE, Cambridge and IB learners
Easy as Pi equips students with the skills and tools to thrive in the school environment, from a mental, emotional, and academic perspective.
Maths & physics tuition
We offer performance coaching and tuition in various subjects, primarily Math's and Physics, in IEB, DBE, Cambridge and IB.
Dedicated grade classes
These 60-minute sessions are dedicated to a specific grade with emphasis on looking at exam type questions to refine what has already been learned in school. In this way the theory is reinforced whilst the students start being conditioned to be able to tackle exam type questions with proficiency and ease.
Private tuition
This 60-minute intervention is designed for learners needing more individualized attention due to past gaps that need to be addressed before the student can become proficient. The students are screened and interviewed, and a discussion is had with parents before a tutor agrees to work with the individual/s.
Exam intensive workshops
These workshops occur closer to their exams and tests. They are usually 2 to 3 hours in duration with a session dedicated for Paper 1 and Paper 2 and limited to no more than 40 per session.
Workbooks are compiled consisting of exam questions from previous exam papers. We focus on questions that are most challenging whilst deepen learner understanding of concepts.
Focus is placed on preparation in terms of exam strategy, time management and managing of mental and emotional state to ensure the highest probability of success.
Mental skills and coaching: mindfulness for teenagers
This intervention is specifically used to develop mental focus and clarity of the learner using lessons from the corporate space. The learners are taught various techniques to better deal with anxiety and stress. The content is backed by neuroscience research and is shown to reduce stress and anxiety whilst improving well-being and cultivating a greater degree of resilience.
Mental Skills and coaching: red 2 blue coaching
This philosophy is most famously used by the All Blacks rugby team to win back to back World cups in 2011 and 2015 along with maintaining a win record of around 90%. The coaching is used to enable students to direct awareness and attention to achieve more resourceful mental and emotional states when in high pressure situations.

My matriculant daughter benefited immensely from the extra lessons in mathematics and physical science with Udesh and Matthew in her final examination achieving distinctions in both subjects.

I have just enrolled my Gr 10 Daughter for Physical Sciences extra classes & have had a pleasure working with Urdesh.
I saw an improvement slightly on my daughters marks & the tutor assigned is actually appropriate as she was from the same school & is really prepared to bend over backwards for us.
I am hoping for a big change by exams!

I highly recommend Easy as Pi tutors. They have provided excellent, high quality 1:1 tuition with flexibility to meet my son's busy schedule. Tutors are always willing to support even outside of the scheduled hours. The IEB past papers and extra work given to my son has helped him practice and build his skills. Feedback is provided regularly so I am continuously updated on my son's progress. I have seen a huge improvement in my son's results and I am so grateful for their services.

Udersh from Easy as Pi has been tutoring Grade 11 learners at Bryanston High, for the last couple of years. He is providing his excellent services pro bono. He is an outstanding teacher, very knowledgeable and organised, and relates well to the learners. There has been a big increase in confidence and ability in the students who attend his classes.

My son's maths mark had dropped significantly after the Covid period. He was playing in the Cs. Easy as Pi pulled him back to an A. Dedicated tutors and affordable too. Highly recommend them anytime.
