Online tuition services for IEB, DBE, Cambridge and IB learners


Easy as Pi equips students with the skills and tools to thrive in the school environment, from a mental, emotional, and academic perspective.

Maths & physics tuition


We offer performance coaching and tuition in various subjects, primarily Math’s and Physics, in IEB, DBE, Cambridge and IB.

Dedicated grade classes


These 60-minute sessions are dedicated to a specific grade with emphasis on looking at exam type questions to refine what has already been learned in school. In this way the theory is reinforced whilst the students start being conditioned to be able to tackle exam type questions with proficiency and ease.

Private tuition


This 60-minute intervention is designed for learners needing more individualized attention due to past gaps that need to be addressed before the student can become proficient. The students are screened and interviewed, and a discussion is had with parents before a tutor agrees to work with the individual/s.

Exam intensive workshops


These workshops occur closer to their exams and tests. They are usually 2 to 3 hours in duration with a session dedicated for Paper 1 and Paper 2 and limited to no more than 40 per session.
Workbooks are compiled consisting of exam questions from previous exam papers. We focus on questions that are most challenging whilst deepen learner understanding of concepts.
Focus is placed on preparation in terms of exam strategy, time management and managing of mental and emotional state to ensure the highest probability of success.

Mental skills and coaching: mindfulness for teenagers


This intervention is specifically used to develop mental focus and clarity of the learner using lessons from the corporate space. The learners are taught various techniques to better deal with anxiety and stress. The content is backed by neuroscience research and is shown to reduce stress and anxiety whilst improving well-being and cultivating a greater degree of resilience.

Mental Skills and coaching: red 2 blue coaching


This philosophy is most famously used by the All Blacks rugby team to win back to back World cups in 2011 and 2015 along with maintaining a win record of around 90%. The coaching is used to enable students to direct awareness and attention to achieve more resourceful mental and emotional states when in high pressure situations.

I have 2 sons who were in grades 10 and 12 last year and my eldest was tutored by Shruti and Udersh for Physics and Maths respectively. Shruti helped him maintain his results and he completed matric with a strong B. He got an A for Maths, which I have to thank Udersh for. My second son worked really well with Matthew in Maths and started to really enjoy the subject. EasyasPi is an affordable tutoring platform which provides one-on-one tutoring sessions which my sons enjoyed and could really ask questions that they individually needed assistance with. I will be using EasyasPi for my second and my third son, when he needs it! I cannot thank Udersh, Shruti and Matthew enough for the care and patience they gave my sons and just the overall commitment. Shruti would make notes and summaries of the sessions which were so helpful; Matthew would be on my second son motivating him and challenging him. My sons were not another pupil, but individuals who needed guidance on specific methods or formulas, etc. Udersh was methodical with his Maths and AP Math tutoring. I would highly Recommend EasyasPi to any student needing assistance.

Thomas Purchase made a tremendous difference to my niece during her Matric year in Physical Science. She was struggling with the subject and had very low confidence, but Thomas took the time to explain key concepts in a clear, practical way that really made sense to her. He helped her identify and understand her mistakes, which not only improved her marks but also rebuilt her confidence. We are truly grateful for his patience, dedication, and ability to make a challenging subject feel manageable.

Easy as Pi has made a positive difference to my sons Maths journey. Udersh is patient, encouraging, and clearly very passionate about Maths. Since he started with Udersh (Easy as Pi), his confidence in Maths has grown and his marks have improved steadily. He is more comfortable going for these lessons. I would happily recommend Easy as Pi (Udersh) to any parent looking for extra Maths lessons for their child.

My matriculant daughter benefited immensely from the extra lessons in mathematics and physical science with Udesh and Matthew in her final examination achieving distinctions in both subjects.
