Children's charity home

The Johannesburg Children’s Home one of the oldest charitable institutions in Gauteng and have cared for thousands of children over the past 121 years: we believe that child care is not just the provision of food and shelter, but also includes the provision of a special place for a child to be, a home in which he/she can take pride and feel surrounded by love and warmth. Caring for 64 children and healing the harm that has been done to them is a huge task, and takes the dedication and hard work of a multi-disciplinary team. The children need to become functional members of society, and leave our care with adequate coping skills to survive in the outside world.

We invite you to partner with us in the success we continue to have with mistreated children. As a non-profit organization, we rely entirely on fund raising activities and donations to build and sustain the holistic and multi-layered support we provide. Give us a call if you would like to be involved somehow in these events.
