Smuts House Museum, home of Jan Christian Smuts, statesman, world leader, botanist, author, husband and father. This museum depicts the simple life style of one of SA leaders.

Family friendly restaurant


Ouma's Tea Garden restaurant (closed on Mondays) offers a variety of delicious foods.

Children can play on the jungle gym or the old armed vehicles in the grounds.
For the more energetic, take a walk up the Smuts Koppie along the Oubaas Nature Trail. Birders will also find a good variety of species in the area. Dogs welcome, but please keep dogs on leash unless in 'doggy freedom zone' near the Place of Quiet.

Smuts Farm Caravan park now open - quiet country setting. Dogs permitted. Conditions apply.
