A museum which explores South Africa's cultural diversity with various permanent and temporary exhibitions. Exhibits include rock paintings and engravings of the San people and looking at archeology through Iron Age figurines. The museum focuses on the history of 9 South African families relecting diverse backgrounds and investigating how different and how similar we are. We also offer educational programs in English, Zulu, Afrikaans, Setswana, Sesotho, Xhosa and SePedi, which run for approx 2 hrs. The programs are in line with initiatives which show respect for cultural diversity and are OBE designed, focussing on the syllabus.
