Info:
On the second Sunday of every month, storyteller Merle Grace tells stories about nature, life and the world - all have universal themes and appeal. Storytelling starts at 9am. Safe parking at Marks Park, Judith Road, Emmarentia; entrance to Melville Koppies is across the road. Pay at the entrance by cash or card.
It's a short hike up the hill to the lecture hut - takes about 10-15 minutes. After the first story, Merle gets the kids up and about and doing activities and then she tells another story. Story telling is done by 9.30 and then visitors can wander around and explore the Koppies. The Koppies closes at 11.30.
Dress warmly and comfortably.
13 July stories:
- Little Badger's Wish: A little badger named Melli has a wish that lives deep in her belly! She wants to be an artist oh so big! But what will her parents think?
- Caterpillar's Journey to the Keurbooms Tree: A deeply touching story written by Marguerite Poland, filled with so much detail. A rich South African tale, rooted within the landscape.
