Imbabali Retreat & Venue is situated an hour from Johannesburg or Pretoria, nestled in the foothills of the spectacular Magaliesberg Mountain Range, which boasts a rich history. The foothills provide an excellent setting for various outdoor activities, including a golf driving range, fishing, hiking, birdwatching, mountain biking, and picnicking.

We have an exceptionally diverse abundance of fauna, flora, and bird life. In the evenings you can hear the Jackal calling amongst other animals and insects that seem to have left city life.

Self-Catering Accommodation for Families

Driving onto the property you will find yourself surrounded by nature, many trees, and land that is unspoilt, with just a 350-meter sand road leading to our various accommodation options.

- Grapevine House sleeps 8 guests
- 3 guest cottages 1, 2 & 3 overlook a small dam, with the Magaliesberg Mountains as the backdrop to your magnificent view. The sun sets behind the mountains and promises to be breathtaking on most evenings.

Our A La Carte Restaurant is open 7 days a week, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Room service is also an option.

All our accommodation is serviced daily for your convenience, by our friendly staff, allowing you to kick back and relax.

3 Campsites and a Caravan Site

Imbabali Retreat & Venue features standard campsites positioned on the edge of a serene dam, providing campers with a beautiful and calming waterside setting.

The campsites are surrounded by manicured gardens and shady trees, creating a picturesque and inviting environment. Guests can bring their own caravans or tents to set up camp and enjoy the outdoor experience. The campsites are equipped with braai facilities, allowing visitors to enjoy outdoor cooking and dining. Additionally, the proximity to spotlessly clean ablution blocks with showers and wash-up areas ensures a comfortable and convenient stay. The caravan site has one electrical point.

Although the campsites do not have electricity, the Venue offers essential items for sale, including ice, wood, charcoal, firelighters, food, and drinks, ensuring that guests have everything they need for a pleasant stay.
