A rich and creamy tuna pasta casserole that is a delicious main plate or side dish and very inexpensive to make. It’s the perfect cold pasta salad to bring to a braai or pool party. It can also be served warm as a main dish.
Ingredients
1 medium onion
2 cans tuna in brine shredded
Thai fish sauce
2 sachets tomato paste
1Tb olive oil
Curry leaves
Robertson lemon pepper
Pinch chili powder
Salt to taste
1 cup sour cream
Boiled pasta
Method
Braise onion with olive oil and curry leaves
When onions are soft – add tuna
Braise
Add sachets tomato paste
Mix well
Add spices
Add fish sauce
When all mixed nicely
Add sour cream
Let it cook on low heat
It will form a creamy sauce
Add to cooked pasta
Mix togther in a pot on low heat till everything is mixed
Layer in casserole dish
Garnish with grated mozerella cheese
Before serving melt cheese in microwave
