Charity Organisation establishing feeding schemes & crèches in disadvantaged areas

FEED SA is a non-profit organization, whose main aim is to establish feeding programs within the informal settlements ( reg #2000/04240/08, NPO #77015 , PBO 930033678 )

We are passionate about education – and we believe that education begins on a full stomach. With this belief we work hands on in the townships on a grass roots level, sourcing our beneficiaries through different leaders within the communities.

To date, we assist 43 beneficiaries from Alexandra, Soweto, Orlando West, Orange Farm and the West Rand – around 5 357 people – ensuring that each child/person is guaranteed two or more nutritious meals a day. Our beneficiaries range from Crèches, Community Centres, Homes for the physically and mentally handicapped, the elderly and bed ridden citizens, as well as after school programmes for the children and an art and drama centre.

We also implement the building and setting up of crèches, from the operations to the curriculum - including Teacher Training and Early Childhood Development courses.
Education should be a RIGHT.. not a privilege.
