Child care & rehabilitation charity for abused children
Abraham Kriel Bambanani provides residential care and community care all around Gauteng. Our main focus is to shelter, care for and rehabilitate children between the ages of birth and 18 years old who have been subject to trauma, abuse, molestation, poverty and neglect.
Children's homes & educational programs
Currently Abraham Kriel Bambanani runs 9 children’s homes and carries out 4 community care programs that provide food, pastoral care, remedial care, social services and skills development services. Abraham Kriel Bambanani provides 3 educational programs which are the Emdeni Skills Development Centre (for youth), Impact School and Johanna Malan Early Childhood Development Centre.
Abused children need more than shelter and food, they need love, care, guidance and rehabilitation in order to lead sustainable lives that will empower them and allow them to be positive contributors to society. At Abraham Kriel Bambanani we see this as the best way to breaking the cycle of poverty, violence and abuse. Because of this Abraham Kriel Childcare has become a leader in the non-profit childcare industry - an innovative organization constantly seeking to improve its services and programs through sensitivity to change in the social environment and the needs of children and families at risk.
