So, you’ve got the date, you’ve sent out the invites and you’re all set to get planning your little one’s birthday. Now comes the hard part, what are you going to do to keep them busy, fed and ensure that there’s a smile on their face from start to finish?

We’ve sat with Jelly Tots, put our heads together and come up with three interactive ideas to make any birthday party memorable. All you need is Jelly Tots, a printer and a few extra items and you’re set.

  1. Pin the nose on JT

Oh no, where’s JT’s nose? We’ve put our own Jelly Tots spin on an old classic pin the tail on the donkey.

All you need to do is print out this picture of JT, make sure you have a big bag of Jelly Tots on hand and of course, you’ll need a blindfold for the kids.

  • Place the printout of JT on a wall away from any sharp objects or anything that might be easy to trip on
  • Place the blindfold over the little party goer’s eyes
  • Ask the lucky kid to lick their jelly tot
  • Let them loose and see if they can help him find his nose!

What you’ll need:

  • A JT Printout, you can download it here.
  • A bag of Jelly Tots
  • Prestick or scotch tape
  • A blindfold

2. Jelly Tots Pie

You’re going to want to have your camera ready and waiting for this one!

Prepare a whipped cream pie for each child at the party and lay them out on a flat surface or table top. Make sure you throw in a whole lot of Jelly tots into the ‘pie’, ten per pie should be perfect.

Start the clock! Each child will need to go head first into their pie to retrieve their Jelly Tots. The first little one to five wins their own bag of Jelly Tots to take home.

What you’ll need:

  • Pie dishes
  • Whipped Cream
  • A bag of Jelly Tots
  • A whole lot of wet wipes!

3. Cup Cake Decorating

What’s a party without Jelly Tots, but cupcakes are important too! Combine functionality and fun by getting your little party goers to design their own cupcake toppings. Think loads of different colour icing, sprinkles, sparkles and of course Jelly Tots to top it all off.

Set up individual decorating stations with one or two cupcakes, fill a table with Jelly tots and anything else that’s edible and colourful and let the kids go wild.

What you’ll need:

  • Aprons
  • Cupcakes
  • A bag of Jelly Tots
  • Icing, cake toppers, sprinkles and anything delicious and edible
