La Montagne  is a family-friendly, seaside holiday resort situated in the beautiful Ballito. Situated right on Compensation Beach, La Montagne has been a firm favourite of our family’s for a while now, and we’ve stayed there twice.

As a family holiday resort, La Montagne has a variety of activities and facilities to keep kids busy and parents relaxed. A daily schedule of poolside activities and events is made available to guests, and includes fun kids entertainment items and fun for parents too.

Our rooms are always well turned out, clean and boast a beautiful view over the resort’s swimming pool and the ocean. With air-conditioning and large balconies, the suites are great spots to relax and enjoy a family braai.

The Pumpkin Theatre  is found in the lower levels of the resort, and provides magnificent entertainment. Great Untitledshows, including musical tributes and standup comedy, can be enjoyed. The buffet dinner has never disappointed and the entertainment is often family-friendly.

With four restaurants, a bar and a nightclub, we’ve yet to run out of things to do in the evenings, and the games room keeps my kid entertained for hours.

Perhaps the loveliest part of the resort is the wellness spa. If you’re looking for a little relaxation and pampering, the team at the spa can tailor-make a package for you with ease. This spa offers luxury treatment rooms, outdoor treatments relaxation area and is open seven days a week.

If we get itchy feet, there’s easy access to the beach and La Montagne is not far from Sibaya Casino and Entertainment Kingdom.

Staff at La Montagne have always been friendly, helpful and on call 24 hours a day. They’ve even dealt with my midnight ice-cream cravings with a smile!

I’d firmly recommend La Montagne for a family-friendly, seaside holiday in Ballito.
