Coronavirus Update:

Willow House has been taking social distancing seriously, but we also take our students' education seriously. We have been having lessons on Skype as we understand the importance of routine and mental stimulation.
Our learners and tutors have participated with enthusiasm, sticking to the time table and curriculum on a daily basis.
We are still accepting new enrolments for term 2.

Registered Impaq Tutor Centre

We are an Impaq registered tutor centre. Impaq is a CAPS aligned curriculum provider. This allows learners to be awarded with an Umalusi accredited Matric certificate (NSC) upon completion of Grade 12.

Alternative schooling centre - grade 6 to 12

Our tutor centre offers small classes where learners are assisted by specialised tutors. These smaller classes allow learners to work at their own pass and pressure is alleviated. Tutors are responsible for the distribution of the curriculum, tasks, tests and exams.

At Willow House we strive to assist our students more than just academically. We aim to support your child holistically by nurturing their intellectual, physical, social and emotional well-being.

As educators we understand the need young individuals have for structure and to be rooted firmly in order to flourish. The school follows a timetable to provide the students with daily structure but the portfolio hours provide them with the opportunity to manage their own time and take responsibility to decide how they will dedicate this time constructively. This sets the foundation for our students to grow into successful adults.

Within the classroom and the centre itself we offer a stable environment where students are able to build relationships with their peers and their tutors. This forms a vital part to a prosperous learning process as your child will feel safe and settled.

We are fully aware of the challenges that young individuals face in the modern world. We aim to equip our students with the necessary tools to persevere and overcome the greatest of challenges. At Willow House our students are expected to be nothing but themselves, in fact we encourage this as it allows your child to branch out from how they are used to conducting themselves in their past experience of schooling.
