The Bridge Assisted Learning School provides specialised education for Grade 0 to Grade 7 children with a range of academic challenges that have necessitated intervention.
A neurodiverse approach
Typically these children are not necessarily catered for in either mainstream or special needs schools. So for children with average to above average ability, whose learning is impacted by challenges such as ADHD, ADD, dyslexia, mild autism, anxiety, or children who have been through illness or trauma which has affected their scholastic progress, The Bridge has been a lifeline.
A neurodiverse approach is followed at The Bridge, ensuring that all students are included, catered for and receive the additional support they require. We believe that when a student joins our school, they are taking the first step toward their best future.
We actively create opportunities for self-fulfillment and self-actualisation for all students, to develop their potential regardless of differences. Each student is taught according to their unique needs and in accordance with an individualised development plan.
Having a multi-dimensional specialist team ensures that we can follow a neurodiverse approach, ensuring that all students are included, catered for, and supported according to their needs. All therapies are available in-house, and your child will benefit from therapists and teachers working together according to an individualised development plan. Our classes cater to a variety of students, from those who need a learning assisted environment, to those requiring specialised IEP classes offering advanced remedial support.
