Online and On-Site Homeschool Study Centres

With home schooling becoming a more popular option for those seeking quality education that matches their child’s needs, finding the right support structure is vital.

Our goal at Princeton is to provide parents and their children with the best of both worlds – classroom based support and guidance from top notch educators, operating in a relaxed, nurturing environment combined with the pace and depth of learning that only home schooling can provide.

Impaq curriculum followed

We make use of the fully recognised and highly regarded Impaq curriculum. On completion of their grade 12 learners write the National Senior Certificate (NSC) exams. The results of these exams are recognised by all centres of higher education in South Africa.

Randburg: Grades 6 to 12

Our home school in Blairgowrie proves education to children who prefer an alternative to main stream schooling. We also offer assisted learning for students who are not grade specific. These are typically children who, for various reasons, have had gaps missing from their schooling.

Our classrooms are set in a tranquil, park like garden, providing an ideal study environment.
Classes are limited to 12 students per tutor, all of whom are fully qualified teachers. This allows for close monitoring of your child’s progress. Students are able to work at their own pace, thus achieving a better understanding of their study material.

Sandton branch: grade R to 12

Located in Strathavon, we provide tuition to students who find that mainstream schooling does not suit their preferred style of learning.

Our nurturing environment helps eliminate any anxiety that students may be experiencing, and our fully trained teachers are handpicked for this purpose.

We are also able to provide an assisted learning program for individual students who may have gaps in previous learning, or who may be struggling with a particular core subject such as English or mathematics.

Focussing on grades R to 12, the largest of our two branches can accommodate up to 120 learners who work in a number of open plan areas, also enjoying spacious desks and comfortable modern seating. Our junior grades R to 5 are taught separately from the more senior students.

Online Lessons

To better meet our students’ needs, Princeton Centre of Learning has developed a unique method of studying, incorporating both online lessons and in-class teaching.

These online lessons are taught across our branches, and students working from home can also log onto these lessons.

Parents of senior students (generally grades 11 and 12) can customise a study package that suits their children’s needs in terms of the split between online and in-class lessons.

Senior students, therefore, have optionality and can study either from home or school on whatever days suit them. This option is not available to students in Grades 9 and lower, as all lessons are given in class by qualified teachers.

All online lessons are presented via Zoom from within our classrooms and recorded for students to access at any time in the future for revision.

In addition to these online lessons, we provide tailored study notes on Google Classroom to assist students with specific areas of learning.
