Dual Medium School for Intellectually Gifted Learners

Our holistic approach enables us to provide children with an academically stimulating and mentally challenging alternative to traditional education, while also fostering creativity, physical development, emotional well-being and social skills.

We understand that intellectually gifted children's brains are wired differently.

Mainstream education may leave them with high marks, but without being appropriately challenged to grow in the fields of:

• creativity
• critical thinking
• collaboration
• problem solving

Some may underperform due to

• losing interest
• not feeling understood

They often experience multiple intensities (intellectual, emotional, sensory, psycho-motor, and/or imaginational) that require specialised guidance beyond what mainstream can offer.

Nebula's educational programme is designed to meet these needs, allowing them to thrive in their learning journey. In this environment, learners also have the opportunity to connect with other gifted children, learn what it means to be responsible citizens, and enjoy the process along the way.

Christian Ethos

Nebula College operates from a Biblical underpinning, and we incorporate Bible discussion classes and the practical implications of being a follower of Jesus in our living life together at school. Learners from non-Christian backgrounds are welcomed, providing the families accept that the learners will be exposed to Christian ethos and Biblical content.

Curriculum

Regarding curriculum, Nebula College is pursuing authorisation as an International Baccalaureate World School and is already a Candidate School for the Primary Years Programme (PYP). The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a highly acclaimed, challenging and flexible international curriculum that provides a remarkable fit for gifted children. We currently accommodate learners from Grade 1 to Grade 9, and will grow upwards year by year to graduate our first matriculants in 2028.
