The Tiger Who Came To Tea: 25 July - 20 August 2017
The Tiger Who Came To Tea, based on the classic book by Judith Kerr, tells the story of a tiger who unexpectedly knocks on the door of Sophie’s house, just as Sophie and her mum are about to have tea. Of course, things get a little crazy when the tiger enters the house; he proceeds to eat all the sandwiches, buns, biscuits and more. What will Sophie’s Daddy say when he gets home?
Theatre workshops Term Three: 29 July - 23 September 2017
NCT Workshops are open to all children who are motivated to learn, grow, and explore the world of theatre and the arts. The program is an ongoing, year–round training project for youth of diverse backgrounds designed to teach students about live theatre, both on stage and behind the scenes.
Kids birthday parties
Celebrate your birthday on a very "Special Birthday Party Journey". Carloads of children, family and friends arrive at the theatre. They meet the birthday girl or boy in the "Birthday Party Room". There is jostling and laughter as excitement and anticipation of seeing the "Special Party Theatre Production" mounts.
Birthday party tickets are handed to each party guest and then they proceed to the theatre for the performance.
Music... The lights go down... Silence.
The audience is close to the action and is exhilarated watching the plays. NCT finds subjects and stories that matter to young people and adults and brings them to life in a relevant exciting way, creating an unforgettable theatrical and learning experience.
As a special "Birthday Treat", the birthday child is invited on the stage and receives a birthday gift, photo of cast while the audience sing "Happy Birthday".
Birthday parties are arranged directly with the Theatre Management on 011 484 1584/5.
