munch Cafe - Upmarket Boutique Cafe, Home Roasted Coffee Beans, Kids Friendly
munch Cafe is a fresh, welcoming environment, where families come together around the table in an upmarket and informal setting, where both the young and old feel at home.
The first Bistro originally based in Parktown, light meals good family “garden/nursery” environment, opened a second one in Bryanston with the same feel.
Our coffee is home roasted and the blend of our beans truly produces a smooth, dark, sweet and aromatic coffee we are proud to say is one of a kind!
All our breads from ciabatta to buns and brioche is lovingly baked and served fresh daily, giving our light meal menu a cutting edge in freshness quality and flavour.
We believe the selection of premium quality ingredients produces optimal flavours and a higher level of gastronomy.
Recently our new stores took a turn in image and market by opening our newest store in a décor group called “Hertex” in Sandton (Kramerville)… Hertex and ourselves have joined forces on that store and created a gorgeous bistro with good neutral clean lines and natural tones and textures accentuating natures raw products , this new look stands as a benchmark decor we would like to carry through in all the stores and the new ones to come.
Our new branch will opening in Crowthorne, Kyalami and is launching in Mid-October.
Matt and his Father Gerry Scott-Lyon were the originators of the concept, and are strong partners. Gerry is an artisan baker and lives his passion into his business and every item on the menu has been meticulously designed with the utmost attention to detail, quality and flavour.
