NPO offering home-based care for HIV/AIDS patients

REG NO: 026-823-NPO
MOO, through their Home Based Care program that started in 2003, identified over 500 children who have been orphaned and are vulnerable due to HIV/AIDS in Lehae and surrounding informal settlements. Our beneficiaries are now over 4500.
Communities in these areas are poverty stricken with a high rate of unemployment due to HIV/AIDS infection and domestic violence.

Khaya Centre - free daycare & learning centre

MOO intervened by establishing HIV/ OVC Centre- called Khaya Centre.

The centre acts as a day care which provides these children, with basic needs and psycho-social support. Children are receiving services to meet their physical, emotional and spiritual needs.

Mount Olive is a non profitable organization registered with the department of Social Development under the laws of the South African Government. The core activities are focused on behavior change, care and support in the general public. MOOs main focus is to assist and develop Orphan and Vulnerable Children (OVC).

We also run a swim school and playschool. See details below.
