Children's rehabilitation shelter

Kids Haven currently have 145 - 150 children in our care. 33 children ages 3-6 are in Pre-school. 54 BIG BOYS stay in the shelter & 90 GIRLS and SMALL BOYS at the village. The village has 6 houses . The children are made up of 51% girls & 49% boys.

Mandela Day Appeal

- Do you have 67 minutes to spend with our children or to complete a painting project. We would love it if you joined us in Benoni at 34 Cranbourne Avenue, Benoni. You can email us in advance if you would like our specific wish list or to discuss a project.

Christmas Appeal

- Kindly support us with gifts for teenagers, special treats like biscuits for Christmas day and New year's day and any other food item that can help us.

Kids Haven in Benoni provides a safe & secure environment for boys & girls who have lived & worked on the streets or who have been removed from abusive homes. We ensure that all our children attend school & provide skills training for those children who cannot cope in a mainstream academic environment. Kids Haven runs a Bridging School facility as well as a Nursery school, because we believe that Education is the corner stone of rehabilitation. Kids Haven provides 24hr residential care for these children.

Kids Haven would appreciate any donations of cash or donations of new/used clothing and household goods, toys, books etc. We also need non-perishable food. We collect!
