Kids dance classes

Katz School of Dance offers both vocational and recreational options for dance although we STRONGLY recommend that we instill a good discipline from an early age to keep the child consistently proactive towards dance

Our program consists of internationally recognised syllabi namely RAD ballet, AIDT Modern, Hip Hop and Tap and ISTD Modern, Ballet and Tap as well as Alianza Flamenco- giving the budding young dancer a broader spectrum and a well-rounded dance education. Allowing them to eventually attain their dance teaching qualifications as well becoming a professional dancer with recognized accreditation.

We have recently introduced Contemporary, Gymnastics, Break Dancing and Latin and Ballroom to our Kids Curriculum these are not examinable subjects but work beautifully in hand with all the above genres. We take part in major eisteddfods, competitions, auditions and concerts where applicable and provided the child is up to standard- this not only teaches them confidence required to perform but allows them to gain experience and get the sense of healthy competitions to improve their skills.

Adult dance classes

We offer all styles from ballet to ballroom and Tap to Tango, Spanish, Hip Hop, and acrobatics just to name a few. We run vocational as well as recreational classes so if it's from a health and fitness perspective or you are looking into growing your professional repertoire, Katz school of dance is the place to be.

Please Note: Certain classes are for recreational purposes (those who wish to take it up vocationally would be expected to do a grading at the end of every term) . They will be entered into group sections at festivals and competitions (those who wish to do solos and duets will be specially selected by their relevant teacher)
