My daughter enjoys the camp experience at happy acres. It's fun, she built friendships and confidence. She also got stretched and learnt valuable lessons.

The camp every child should go to at least once! With 75 years of experience, we offer fun filled holiday camps for children between the ages of 7 and 14 years. Each week long camp is jam-packed with exciting activities, a fantastic vibe and the opportunity of a lifetime! A chance to meet new people, learn about nature in a fun and safe environment and beat the boredom of the school holidays. Happy Acres is situated 56km west of Johannesburg in picturesque Magaliesburg. Counsellors provide stimulating activities for different age groups and ensure that campers of all ages are well cared for and entertained. Our wide variety of activities include arts, crafts, walks, games, sports, hobbies, swimming, cook outs, crab catching, playing with the guinea pigs or rabbits, etc.
Happy Acres runs syllabus orientated courses in the natural science field. There is no better place than the beauty of Magaliesburg to concentrate on this field. Learning at Happy Acres is balanced with plenty of 'hands on' learning and consolidation with work sheets, word puzzles, key sheets and scavenger hunts. School tours can vary from a one day course to a 5 day camp.

I just wanted to say a very big THANK YOU, for the wonderful camp, Tyler as always had a wonderful time.
He thoroughly enjoyed the Councilor in Training course and learnt some valuable lessons.
I really appreciate all the effort and kindness in which he was guided, he cant stop talking about everything he learnt on camp.
He is so excited to join the next camp as a 1 ⭐ Councilor.
