Sea scouts for boys and girls
We offer Sea Scouting to the youth of Gauteng. We are members of the World Organisation Scouting Movement, the largest youth development organisation in the world. We aim to develop young people into responsible and equipped citizens through the mediums of fun and activity. we stimulate leadership and survival ability. Sea Scouts follow a structured programme of fun and skill advancement.
Activities for the kids include:
- Rowing
- Canoeing
- Sailing
- Canoe
- Polo
- Hiking
- Camping
- Adventuring
- Orienteering
- Pioneering
- First Aid and Community Service.
Ages for membership
Cubs: - Cubs can be boys or girls from the age of 7½ years up until their 11th birthday.
Scouts: - Scouts can be boys or girls from the age of 10½ years until their 18th birthday.
