Covid-19 Update:

We're so glad to be back and swimming again! Our children's safety is a priority so please take note of the following protocols and rules:
• All hands to be sanitized when entering the property.
• Any child or parent that enters the property will have their temperature taken.
• Any child or Adult entering the property must fill in the Covid-19 screening form.
• PARENTS MUST REMAIN OUTSIDE unless their child is very young and unsettled and then only 1 adult per child will be allowed in the pool area or at the door - No other siblings will be able to enter the pool area when not swimming.
• Please ensure (where possible) that your child goes to the toilet at home and gets changed for swimming class at home – if possible, it would also be best to get changed in the car once they have swum.
• Teachers will wear a face mask. If possible, the teacher will teach outside the pool.
• There will be three lanes in the pool to ensure the children stay a safe distance from each other. The middle lane will be empty.
• There will be not more than 2 children in the pool at one time except for Aquatots classes where there will be three pupils.
• Where possible, and if appropriate siblings will be placed together in the group of 2 lessons.
• Pupils will enter the pool area through one door and exit through the other door. They will only be allowed to enter the pool area when it is time for their lesson to start once the other child that has swam is out the pool area.
• In the Aquatots classes there will be a maximum of 3 children in a class – the pool will be divided into 3 so you are not in contact with each other. The teacher will not be in the pool. The lesson will be 25 minutes. Parents doing the Aquatots classes must please wear a mask. There will then be a 15-minute break between lessons while surfaces can be sanitized between classes where the parent and child get changed.

Swimming lessons for babies, kids & adults

We follow the Aquatots SA program to teach babies. The parent-tot group approach that develops the natural swimming ability of infants 6-36 months in a loving and fun-filled environment. The inherent potential of infants is encouraged and developed through songs and games in the aquatic environment.

For babies from 0-6months we teach your baby to float in the bath via zoom with a qualified Aquatots teacher in the comfort of your own home. Don’t let your baby miss out on learning the crucial survival skill.

Children are taught in groups of 2 or 4 (at the moment we are not offering any groups of 4 because of Covid -19) – they are put into groups of similar ability and age – My philosophy is to teach them to swim through play using toys, games and rhymes. Respect of and love of water is also taught as well as water safety.

Stroke classes

Once your child is able to swim they will then learn the different strokes – we teach them basic strokes. Once their strokes are perfected they will “graduate” from our swim school and they will need to go to a larger pool to train.

Adult swimming lessons

These are suitable for beginner adults and beginner strokes (we also teach them in the afternoon)
