How can Academic Coaching help my child?

Think of an academic coach as similar to a personal trainer for your child’s mind. Like a personal trainer, the coach will tailor exercises, suggest new techniques, offer encouragement and provide advice to help them achieve their academic goals. Academic coaching process is a one-on-one weekly interaction for an extended period of time (in person or online) that aids students in examining their academic concerns and perceived achievement hurdles; it is a working partnership that focuses on the process of learning.

As coaches we offer each student individualised support throughout the entire school term or an academic year, evaluate the student's strengths and needs, and create a unique action plan. The ultimate objective of an academic coach is to empower students to succeed.
