Meaning behind a Passover house and lamb:<\/h2>\n

I created this project to help children remember and understand the story of Passover, the oldest and most important religious festival in Judaism, commemorating God’s deliverance of the Hebrews from slavery in Egypt.<\/p>\n

What you need:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. polystyrene tray<\/li>\n
  2. scissors<\/li>\n
  3. washing\u00a0 pegs<\/li>\n
  4. tissue paper<\/li>\n
  5. black khoki pen<\/li>\n
  6. small shoe box<\/li>\n
  7. piece of paper<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Instructions<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    1. Draw out the shape of the sheep on a polystyrene tray and cut it out<\/p>\n

    2. Glue small pegs on either side of the lambs body<\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

    3. Scrunch up small balls of tissue paper<\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

    4. Glue the tissue paper balls to both sides of the lamb<\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

    5.\u00a0 Stick on ears, draw eyes and a snout on both sides of the lamb<\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

    6. For the passover house, paint a small box brown and cut a doorway into the box<\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

    7.\u00a0 Colour in some ice cream sticks with red using an oil pastel or crayon<\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

    8. Glue them to the doorway to make door posts<\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

    9. Write out any relevant scripture, roll up the scripture and stick it to the inside of the door. Put your lamb at the doorway of the house<\/p>\n
