If I die today, I ask myself<\/p>\n

Have I given my children enough love ?<\/p>\n

Have I laughed with them and cuddled them?<\/p>\n

Have I shared some of my life\u2019s lessons?<\/p>\n

Have I given them strength<\/p>\n

To face the world with courage?<\/p>\n

Have I shared my values<\/p>\n

so that they know what is important to me?<\/p>\n

Have I taught them to question<\/p>\n

and make sense of the world in their own way?<\/p>\n

Have I introduced them<\/p>\n

to the wonders of nature<\/p>\n

that so inspire me<\/p>\n

and bring joy to my heart<\/p>\n

and to all the other things that make my spirit soar?<\/p>\n

Have I encouraged them to be true to themselves<\/p>\n

and follow their own path in life?<\/p>\n

Have I allowed them the freedom<\/p>\n

to explore and have adventures<\/p>\n

to taste the juice and passion of life?<\/p>\n

Have I given them the space to fall<\/p>\n

and pick themselves up?<\/p>\n

Have I been there<\/p>\n

to nurture them, comfort them,<\/p>\n

sing with them, dance with them?<\/p>\n

Have I been true to myself<\/p>\n

So that they learn not from what I say, but what I do?<\/p>\n

Have I been a good mother<\/p>\n

on my own terms?<\/p>\n
