The Secret Life of Pets is the most adorable movie I have seen in a long time!<\/p>\n

Ok, so I am the world\u2019s biggest animal lover, especially dogs who are my heart and soul, but even the hardest of hearts will love this movie.\u00a0 Adults, teens, kids\u2026 it\u2019s for everyone!<\/p>\n

Soooo\u2026.You thought your pets just slept and waited patiently for you to return from work?\u00a0 Nope, not if the delightful story line in this movie is to be believed \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

The action takes place in New York City, where countless pets live in high-rise apartment buildings, and centres around Max, a cute little Jack Russel Terrier.\u00a0 His owner Katie found him in a cardboard box labeled \u201cfree puppies\u201d, on the sidewalk in Manhattan.\u00a0 He was the last pup left and it was love at first sight.<\/p>\n

Little does she know that when she leaves for work each day, Max socialises with an adorable assortment of animals from other apartments in the building.\u00a0 Their antics are priceless and will have you in stitches!<\/p>\n

One day Katie, much to Max\u2019s disgust, comes home with a large shaggy mongrel, named Duke. Being the angel she is, Katie had adopted Duke from a shelter, but Max REAAALLLYYYY doesn\u2019t want him there! He is jealous and feels threatened.\u00a0 He doesn\u2019t want to share Katie with anyone!<\/p>\n

Duke eventually has enough of Max\u2019s aloof and ugly attitude towards him and decides to take revenge on him, the result of which leads the two, and Max\u2019s neighbourhood buddies, on an adventure that will keep you glued to the screen till the very end. Animal Control, a gang of alley cats and a white rabbit who leads a band of animals, who have been neglected and abandoned by humans and now live in the sewers, are all part and parcel of the fun!<\/p>\n

And when Katie gets home?\u00a0 She is none the wiser\u2026 her two boys are waiting for her and she\u2019s happy to find that they have bonded nicely!\u00a0 But\u2026 after seeing this film, you will know better.<\/p>\n

Believe me when I tell you, you HAVE to see this beautiful 3D animated movie.<\/p>\n

How else will you know what goes on in the secret life of pets?<\/p>\n

The movie is produced by Illumination Entertainment and directed by Chris Renaud and Yarrow Cheney.\u00a0 The animals are voiced by an impressive cast and the film was released by Universal Pictures.<\/p>\n
