Horseback riding
Saddle Creek Ranch offers horseback riding with a difference,riding western style on well trained,obedient and calm trail horses. All the rides are accompanied by the owner and trained trail guides. For the beginner the emphasis is on a safe, relaxed and enjoyable ride on horses that will not run away with you. The experienced rider can choose a more spirited horse for a lively, exhilarating ride. Young children can join a ride and the pony will be led by a staff member(R100 supplement) children's pony rides around the farm R100.
Trail rides costs:
• 1 hour Farm and Bush trail – R300pp includes photos onto a CD
• 1,5 hours trail ride R350 - Includes photos onto a CD
• Champagne Picnic Ride 2,5 hours – R650pp - Includes photos onto a CD. Picnic food and champagne.
• De Luxe Champagne Picnic Ride 2,5 hours R850pp. Includes Champagne on arrival..Flowers and photos onto a CD.2 Saddle Creek caps.
Horseback trails
Trail durations are approximate. Riders are advised to wear suitable clothing (jeans & tekkies/boots), hats and suncream are essentials in the summer. Riding helmets are available on request.
Payment for horseback trails are to be made before the ride. Please arrive 30 minutes before the ride time. Horseback trail days and times are as follows...
* On Weekends trails commence at 9am, 11am and 2pm.
* On Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays trails commence at 11am and 2pm
