The most wonderful memories of my time here in the early 60's, creamy toffee, dixie cola, Mr Holland sits in the old oak tree and the carefree days we had. Thank you so much.

So many great memories ...square dancing, tuck shop, mac n cheese (that I have yet to duplicate) and that wonderful refreshing water that ran through the creek... teary eyed

I went to Happy Acres as a camper and then as a counselor. I was there for every holiday and camp that i could be for many years. I have the most amazing memories and stories of my time spent there. It is a place to be free without too many adults and fun, fun, fun. I hope that my soon to be 9year old son will have the opportunity to go and love it as much as i did.

I attended camps at HA in the late fifties - as a camper- and early sixties - as a counselor. All of these were memorable experiences. I can remember the huge array of outdoor nature activities (collecting water insects my favourite) making me extraordinarily hungry.
I (Cliff) recall people like Frans Spronk, Ken Lyell, Kiffie Holland, Ray Davis and his sisters: Marilyn and Candy, Yolanda di Pasquale and her brother Paul, Shirley Betty and the whole gang of Parktown girls -Joan, Kethy Meg. I wonder if any of these have sent their kids to HA.

If this is the same Happy Acres that I went to in the late 60's then I am really glad that its still up and running.I had the most, unbelievable, amazing times there. (was run by the Holland family)

I used to go as a kid, many school holidays were spent there and most memorable times. The best place to learn play and meet loads of new friends. Glad to see your still up and going, my parents used to go as kids as well.

I went to Happy acres in the 1980's and loved every moment especially hunting scorpions. I live in Australia and find myself telling my family and reminiscing about my time there. Glad to see it's still going.

I went to Happy Acres when I was 9 years old in 1986. Still today, it was the best experience of my life. I am planning to send my daughters in December.

Happy acres is truly a great place for kids! I myself used to go there as a child, and it was very memorable. As a mom now myself, i would send my daughter there often as soon as she is old enough. A great and fun learning experience too.

I went to autumn camp and I loved it. I hope I go back because it was the best camp ever and the food was great.

I sent my 7 year old once, and now he wants to go every holiday! He even got irritated when i called him and interrupted him. He has a fantastic time and has made great friends.

Brilliant fun. My daughter has been twice now and loves it. She isn't out going either, so that impresses me even more.
