Hi, Natasha I just want to thank you for everything you have done so far for my son Keifer. He registered in Sep 2016 and within 2 weeks he went to 5 auditions and 1 advert shoot. You have helped him to build his confidence and enjoy the industry. I am so grateful to Kids on Camera and look forward to a long working relationship.

Hi Natasha, I would like to thank you for giving our 4 year old son an opportunity to be part of the Old Mutual social media campaign. He has been with Kids On Camera for a month and two weeks but he already went for a shoot. We really appreciate what you are doing for the kids. Nyiko.

Just to clarify, R300 must be paid before any pics are taken. I do ask people to sign a contract, they can sit and read it then sign it, I do say that I will forward them a COPY, not the original of it. On the contract that the reviewer signed it says: the registration fee is non refundable. And being on our database doesn’t mean we put her child on our website, those kids on our website are kids that have done more that 3 jobs each, we send pictures of ALL our kids to clients, it’s a lot of PR work that goes unseen. And we have NO control who the client chooses.

This has been a great experience for my son and it has been wonderful for his confidence. He has absolutely loved the shoots he has done so far and he can't wait to see himself on TV. He looks forward to doing more and hopes to be in a film or TV series next. Thanks Natasha for the opportunities!

Hi there Janet here, or dancing wimpy boy's mother. We joined kids on camera in 2010 and well it's the best decision that I've made for my son. We are notified via email and sms on where an audition is to take place which is normally twice every 2 weeks. To date my son has been in 2 ads one which was shot in Cape Town and a movie. We also attend classes to properly train my child to act and grow confidence as well. Long story short if you want your child to be on T.V go to KIDS ON CAMERA!!!!!!! YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU READ ONE OF THESE REVIEWS!!!!!!!! FROM: A PROUD MOTHER

Just as the other complaint "Submitted on Thursday, 3rd November 2011 at 12:41:22 PM" We were told to pay R300 cash registration fee before we even sat down. Then Natasha called me together with 2 other parents into her office and we were basically told what she does. Asked to sign the contract and she will counter sign it and a copy will be emailed to me. Then we were also told that we WILL NOT join any other modelling agency cos' if my daughter got any jobs then Natasha will be entitled to demand a fee irrespective of who gave my child the opportunity. Only at the back of the contract did I also notice that it said that the fee is non-refundable. However, I have requested a copy of the contract since April to no avail. She said I must come through and sign another contract. If she doesn't have my contract then I ask for the registration refund and to let us off as my child has been offered modelling contracts however, I don't want to end up paying 2 agencies. To date Natasha has not responded to my request. My child has had no modelling contracts and she has wasted a year because of this. You may provide excellent service to others however, I am unhappy and have am entitled to have my money back since you cannot keep you end of the deal.

I would like to thank you for the opportunity that you gave to my son to participate in the German ad that took place in Cape Town over 5 days. I would like to compliment you for running an outstanding agency how organised and professional you run your company. My son has been doing TV ad's for over three years and from the other agents he was with, he never had this kind of opportunity or even professionalism. I was also very impressed how we were treated by the shooting company. They were a very nice bunch of people and treated us with decency. So again thanks to you for organising everything so well.
I would highly recommend your company for others to sign their kids up with Kids on Camera and look forward to more opportunities and more shoots.

Well, lady with a complaint. Yes mam, it is clear you haven't done your research, or you would have found out that a digital camera could be pretty good at taking professional pictures, especially since there are software's like photo shop, indesign and so on. One more thing, you would have also found out that most talent scout companies for kids charge R500 or more for the same job that Natasha does and from my experience with fly by nights etc agencies, 'Kids on Camera's website, the venue and Natasha's details would have been changed countless times. Sometimes one must do a proper research before bad mouthing and you might be successful in getting what you want. ***just a passer***

I have a complaint about this agency. It specialises in tv casting mainly and not modelling per se. Secondly, I took both my daughters and my niece to the agency on Saturday 22 October 2011 and was told on entering that I need to pay R300 per child, cash, which were for pictures. I was under the impression that this would be for professional pictures in a studio. When you enter the waiting room you are immediately told to wait. We were then ushered in by Natasha together with another parent. Natasha (the owner) then went on to explain that she takes a picture and this enters the database and then a client will come to her on a specific job and give her their requirements. She then checks her database and chooses a few children for the casting. She only took about 2 pics of each child on a small digital camera (no studio and no professional pictures). We were not sent copies of these pictures. Natasha then explained her pricing structure that on a shoot payout, 26% of the gross salary goes to tax and 30% is for her and the child would get the rest. She then presented an agreement for each child and told us to sign it. My husband and I responded that we would consider it and revert back to her. I felt a little uneasy after leaving her place and my husband asked me whether I had done my homework regarding this agency and he was not sure what the R300 per child cost was for. I did leave a telephone message for Natasha but she never called me back.
