Centurion Horse Riding and pony camps
We teach various disciplines ranging from the stylish Dressage through to exciting Show-Jumping and Vaulting. We teach lessons to all ages with ponies and horses available for all levels of competence or bring your own horse to the lesson. We also organise pony camps during the holidays. We boast a large 20m lunge arena as well as a 33m X 70m show-jumping arena (Dressage arena soon to be built). We are centrally situated in Mnandi being only 10km's from GHS, 5kms from Fourways Riding Center and 2kms from Farm Fresh Feeds.
Show jumping and Dressage
For those more competitive clients, we host training dressage, showing and show-jumping shows bi-monthly. With classes ranging from Lead-rein to open, our clients can feel at ease that their fellow competitors are of the same level. Our shows are relaxing and of a true training nature where you can bring young horses and/or riders into the arena under judging and still allow them to view the jumps or obstacles before commencing the class, without any penalties.
Stabling
We offer limited stabling. At our yard, We make it our top priority to ensure the well being of your horse. We have 2 large spacious paddocks where horses spend most of their time grazing. Horses receive 3 meals per day, grass ad lib and have large comfortable stables to keep them warm at night. Owners live on the property to ensure peace of mind.
Vaulting
Vaulting is an elegant display of gymnastics on horseback and can be done in the walk or the canter depending on the vaulter and horses ability. It is recognised in the World Equestrian Games.We are very proud to be one of the few yards coaching this beautiful sport and can boast two training barrels, gymnastic equipment and two magnificent vaulting horses (Both of whom have been placed in the Top 5 at Horse of the Year).
