Children's Technology workshops

The TechnoLab at the University of Johannesburg offers workshops in Technology for children of all ages. Both schools and home school groups are welcome. Each workshop is customized according to the specific needs of the group involved. Workshops are outcome based and focus on learning outcomes stipulated by the national curriculum. Examples of workshops: Wheels and Axles, Forces and Structures, Levers, Pulleys, Pneumatics, Electricity.

* Holiday Club R50 per child per day.
* School workshops R1200 including per group (36 children) at the TechnoLab, groups smaller than 15 with a minimum of 9, R40 p/p.
* Engineering Graphics & Design(EGD)extra classes/holiday clubs for grades 10,11,12 learners and teachers are offered according to the GDE as well as the IEB assessment standards.EGD extra classes: R120p/h per group of 10,EGD holiday club: R100p/p per day.CAD(Pro-desktop)solid modeling holiday club: R110p/p per day.Please contact the TechnoLab for more details.
