I would like to thank you for the opportunity that you gave to my son to participate in the German ad that took place in Cape Town over 5 days. I would like to compliment you for running an outstanding agency how organised and professional you run your company. My son has been doing TV ad's for over three years and from the other agents he was with, he never had this kind of opportunity or even professionalism. I was also very impressed how we were treated by the shooting company. They were a very nice bunch of people and treated us with decency. So again thanks to you for organising everything so well.

I would highly recommend your company for others to sign their kids up with Kids on Camera and look forward to more opportunities and more shoots.

Well, lady with a complaint. Yes mam, it is clear you haven't done your research, or you would have found out that a digital camera could be pretty good at taking professional pictures, especially since there are software's like photo shop, indesign and so on. One more thing, you would have also found out that most talent scout companies for kids charge R500 or more for the same job that Natasha does and from my experience with fly by nights etc agencies, 'Kids on Camera's website, the venue and Natasha's details would have been changed countless times. Sometimes one must do a proper research before bad mouthing and you might be successful in getting what you want. ***just a passer***

kids on camera is a reputable company that has been operating for 11 years, we have never had any complains before, we do take 2 photos per child, we are NOT a modelling agency, if we were, we would charge R2000 for photos like other modelling agencies. I've been very successful in placing many kids on tv ads, movies, sitcoms and catalogues. In my office there are 2 big signs stating: you need to pay R300 before any pics are taken; that is self-explanatory; there are no refunds. In every business you will find unhappy people, but no one was forced into paying me, pics were taken and I've submitted them to many clients, its a pity as her kids are great! The reviewer knew what she was doing when she came into my office.

I have a complaint about this agency. It specialises in tv casting mainly and not modelling per se. Secondly, I took both my daughters and my niece to the agency on Saturday 22 October 2011 and was told on entering that I need to pay R300 per child, cash, which were for pictures. I was under the impression that this would be for professional pictures in a studio. When you enter the waiting room you are immediately told to wait. We were then ushered in by Natasha together with another parent. Natasha (the owner) then went on to explain that she takes a picture and this enters the database and then a client will come to her on a specific job and give her their requirements. She then checks her database and chooses a few children for the casting. She only took about 2 pics of each child on a small digital camera (no studio and no professional pictures). We were not sent copies of these pictures. Natasha then explained her pricing structure that on a shoot payout, 26% of the gross salary goes to tax and 30% is for her and the child would get the rest. She then presented an agreement for each child and told us to sign it. My husband and I responded that we would consider it and revert back to her. I felt a little uneasy after leaving her place and my husband asked me whether I had done my homework regarding this agency and he was not sure what the R300 per child cost was for. I did leave a telephone message for Natasha but she never called me back.
